Quite behind in blogging...

I have many pictures to post still, so I'm quite behind. Before posting up pictures of Preston's visit, I'll post the earlier ones first to keep everything in chronological order. So more on Preston's visit later, but for now.... more adventures... along with more food pics.

October 24When things were still green... But slowly turning yellow and red..
Entrance to my dorm.
Everything was initially raw, and it was cooked in front of me.

October 25
Canned fruits over waffles... Not so great.... But still.. a dessert.
I got my hair finally permed! It doesn't look this wavy anymore... Well, it does when it's wet.

October 26, 2008Nathan and his parents for his daddy's 70th birthday celebration!!! In Korean tradition, all the family gathers together for the 100th day celebration, 1 year, 60th year, 70th year.. etc. of a person's life. Soooo~ I got to meet basically the majority of Nate's family. :) After some speech by Nate's uncle (I couldn't understand...) the 40 of us all ate at the buffet located inside Lotte Hotel... For each person, it's like $65US. I ate very well this day...
My first plate of deliciousness.
2nd plate of deliciousness.
3rd plate of deliciousness.
4th platter of deliciousness.
One of the many sections of the buffet.. Everything was very appetizing!
After the buffet, the cousins all went to Lotte world while the parents went to sing at a noribang.
Lotte World is almost a Disneyland rip off. Look at the pretty Magic Castle...~ The characters don't resemble Micky and Minnie, though... Instead, it's a brown raccoon boy and girl..
<3>
Minnie's bow? I mean.. Girl raccoon's bow...
Miffy!
October 28: happy birthday dad~Some place.... with a cool building in the background.
Sujebi... Light food.. very delicious.
Super yummy Belgian waffles.
Around Cheonggecheon
October 29
Seafood at Nate's uncle's place.
Pretty good waffles.. but not as good as the BIG Belgian waffles.

October 30
Korean class involves a lot of posters and yellow magnets on a white board.
Cafeteria food. This costs about $2.80US. It's some meat patty with cheese and mustard on top... a salad on the side that usually comes with one broccoli and cherry tomato. rice.. and 3 or 4 tatter tots.
